The ProDreamUSA UK Junior Open is taking place at Longniddry Golf Club in East Lothian from 19 – 21 October. Entries are now closed, and competitors should now have have received confirmation of their place in the event.
As things currently stand, we are confident that we will have the necessary measures in place with the club to allow the event to run as safely and smoothly as possible and further details will be issued to competitors and parents early next week outlining these procedures.
In light of yesterday’s Scottish Government announcement regarding further restrictions on hospitality venues within the Central Belt, unfortunately Longniddry is within the Lothians region and therefore the clubhouse will be shut during the event. However, we are working closely with the club to ensure that there will be an area from which we can manage registrations and scoring, in addition to maximizing the digital platform that we are using to run the tournament.
We appreciate that individual circumstances are challenging during this time, so if you are now unable to compete in the event due to any restrictions put in place, please let us know by e-mail no later than Monday 12 October.
