We were delighted to welcome junior golfers to The Renaissance Club yesterday for our final competition of 2022.
Our 18 hole shoot-out event was played on a beautiful cold winters day, where the sun shone and the golf dazzled.
Coming out on top was Ewen Farquhar of St Leonards School and The New Club of St Andrew’s. Despite a bogey at the last, Ewen posted a 4 under par 67 which was good enough for a 2 shot win over fellow Fifer Charlie Gillespie.
In third place was Gullane GC member Fergus Brown who finished eagle-birdie-birdie for a 1 under par round of 70.
A huge thanks to the members and staff of The Renaissance Club for hosting us once again. The course is without a doubt one of the best in Scotland and a real treat for the players, particularly at this time of the year.
