ProDreamUSA at the Home Internationals

A record 17 current and former ProDreamUSA clients have been selected to represent their countries in the 2023 edition of the Home Internationals, the annual competition between Scotland, England, Ireland, and Wales. The junior event will take place at the fantastic Lindrick Golf Club from August 8–10, whereas the men’s and women’s events start a day later, running from August 9–10 at Machnys Golf Club.

Included in this year's selection are a number of debutants as well as some familiar faces who are not short of international experience. Regardless, the opportunity to represent their country is always a fantastic achievement, and we are always especially proud to celebrate these particular successes. So without further ado, introducing the ProDreamUSA Home Internationals Class of 2023:

England

Women's Team

  • Rosie Belsham - A stalwart of this event, the Baylor rising senior recorded her first NCAA win earlier this year and finished the season with a wildly impressive 71.1 scoring average, the second-best in Baylor history. View Rosie Belsham's Baylor University Profile here.

  • Lottie Woad - We could talk all day about Lottie’s achievements in the last 12 months; she’s been nothing short of a superstar! Lottie finished her junior golf career last year with a win at the R&A British Girls Championship at Carnoustie. The following day, she boarded her flight to begin her US College career at Florida State University. Lottie would go on to record a 71.05 scoring average and finish the season as the #1 ranked Freshman in the NCAA. View Lottie Woad's Florida State University Profile here.

Men's Team

  • Charlie Crockett - We are so proud of this young man, and it’s been incredible to watch his progress through his US College career. Charlie was never capped for England as a junior and is making his debut as a senior golfer after 4 success-laden years, firstly at Hutchinson Junior College in Kansas before transferring to the prestigious University of Missouri. This year Charlie has put himself squarely in the picture for a potential Walker Cup selection, recording 6 top 10 finishes for the Tigers, including a runner-up in the Tiger Invitational and a 4th-place finish in the NCAA Regional Championship. Boys Team

  • Hugh Adams - England is blessed with an incredibly deep pool of elite junior golfers and a selection to this team is a real achievement in itself. Hugh has been close on several occasions to making this team, and he now does so, weeks before he begins his US College career at the University of Oregon. This year, Hugh has recorded top 10 finishes in the Peter McEvoy Trophy, the Fairhaven Trophy, The French U18 Open, and The Carris Trophy. Read more about University of Oregon Men's Golf here.

  • Drew Sykes - 12 months ago Drew’s older brother and fellow ProDreamUSA client, Joe, made his England debut in this event, so Drew’s selection this year will be an extra proud moment for the Sykes family. Drew has committed to join Coastal Carolina University, the alma mater of ProDreamUSA founder, Lorne Kelly, as well as a certain Dustin Johnson. Girls Team

  • Ellise Rymer - One of the most consistent performers in England, Elise, has enjoyed a memorable 12 months representing England in the World Junior Girls, The French Girls Open, the Claude Roger Cartier, the German Girls, and the European Team Championships. Ellise will be looking for another successful week in England colour before she embarks on her US College Golf career at North Carolina State University. Ireland

Boys Team

  • Mark Gazi - 2022 MacGregor Trophy Champion Mark Gazi makes his first appearance in the Home Internationals after a success-laden 12 months, in which he firmly established himself as one of the top golfers of his age group in Europe. Mark recently agreed to join NCAA D1 powerhouse Northwestern University in Fall 2024, after an official visit to their campus just a couple of weeks ago, at the time of writing. Northwestern’s notable alumni include former Scottish Boys Amateur Champion and ProDreamUSA client Eric MacIntosh, 2022 US Open Champion Matt Fitzpatrick, and 2023 European Ryder Cup Captain and former World #1 Luke Donald! • James Walsh - A very solid season for James rightfully sees him gain selection for the Ireland Home Internationals side for the first time. He has competed well in both junior and senior competitions, recording several top 10 performances, most notably a runner-up finish in the Leinster Boys Open, 6th place in the Ulster Boys, and 10th place in the Irish Boys and 5th place in the Munster Men’s. His scoring average for the season sits at an impressive 71.8. We are presently working towards a Fall 2024 placement for James, you can check out his recruiting profile and video, here.

Men's Team

  • Paul Conroy - Incredibly, Paul’s selection for the Home Internationals will be his debut for Ireland. After several consistent seasons, he really broke down the door with his performances stateside this year, where he led the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga’s team to a record-breaking season. On a personal note, he recorded a scoring average of 71.2, thanks to 23 rounds of par or better. He set a Mocks scoring record of 206 in winning his first College title, including a final round of 62! View Paul Conroy's University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Profile here.
