This year we hosted the ProDreamUSA English Open down in West Sussex, at Ham Manor Golf Club during the October half term. It was great to catch up with some of our current clients and we saw some great golf being played across all three rounds.
Our highlight performance from that week was James Marriott. Marriott is a 2025 candidate who started the tournament strong with a -4 first round. He gave himself a head start from the beginning of the tournament by getting under par quick, making an early gap at the top of the leaderboard.
The second round of the tournament was the toughest scoring day for the players, but Marriot continued a strong performance by playing steady golf to remain at the top of the leaderboard, ahead of the other players.
The final day was a day of scoring we all hoped for, the whole field put some good scores together with a few players battling it out with Marriot at the top of the leaderboard. Henry Wigg put together a great performance on the final day catching up with Marriott towards the end of the round. Wigg was 1 shot behind Marriott coming down 18 and forced Marriot into a playoff. Only one playoff hole was played, Marriott made a great par down the tough par 4 10th hole to secure his win after a great performance all week.
